Recently, a client from Côte d’Ivoire successfully completed a visit to NPW’s headquarters in Qingdao. The client runs a family farm in Côte d’Ivoire, raising chickens, ducks, pigs, and sheep, currently using traditional manual farming and slaughtering methods. To improve production efficiency and product quality, the client plans to build a modern slaughterhouse and reached a deep cooperation Intention with NPW during this visit.

📐 Project Scale (as confirmed by the client)
| Category | Designed Capacity |
|---|---|
| Chicken & duck combined line | 800–1,000 birds per hour |
| Pig slaughter line | 50 heads per day |
| Sheep slaughter line | 100 heads per day |

🐔🐤 Chicken & Duck Combined Line: One Line for Two Species, Flexible and Efficient
To meet the client’s need to slaughter both chickens and ducks, NPW’s technical team proposed a combined poultry processing line with the following key products and advantages:
- Shared line: Adjustable stunning parameters, zone‑controlled scalding temperature, and a combination of rubber finger hardness on the plucker enable fast switching between chicken and duck slaughter on a single line, nearly doubling equipment utilization while saving investment and floor space.
- Platform‑style manual evisceration/cutting: Based on the client’s labor plan, evisceration and cutting stations are designed as modular cutting tables. Workers can be flexibly arranged, reducing the cost of full automation while maintaining capacity and quality control.
- Optimized workflow layout: A complete process layout drawing (including scalding, plucking, evisceration, pre‑chilling, cutting, etc.) is provided, minimizing material travel and worker walking distance, increasing workshop utilization by over 30%.

🐷🐑 Pig & Sheep Slaughter Solution: High Cost‑Performance Combined Line
Considering the moderate slaughter volume and limited budget for pigs and sheep, NPW offers a combination of small‑scale scalding tank + horizontal/vertical plucker + overhead rail system:
- Pig slaughter: Inclined scalding tank combined with a soft scraping machine or spiral scraper – suitable for 50 pigs per day, low investment, easy maintenance.
- Sheep slaughter: Dedicated sheep bleeding rail, small‑scale scalding tank, and dual‑purpose plucking/skinning unit allow fast process switching to meet 100 sheep per day.
- Shared hoist and rail: Pigs and sheep share one overhead rail system, switched by a crossover, further reducing costs.

🏭 Client Visit: Factory Tour + Live Demo + A Pleasurable Trip in Qingdao
During the visit, the client toured NPW’s production workshop, witnessing stainless steel laser cutting, robotic welding, and high‑precision assembly. They highly appreciated the manufacturing process and quality control system. Afterwards, the client observed a live demonstration of the chicken & duck combined slaughter line in the demo workshop, including stunning, scalding, plucking, evisceration, pre‑chilling, and cutting. The client was very satisfied with the equipment’s stability and ease of operation.

The two sides held a half‑day in‑depth discussion on the solution details, finally confirming the process layout and equipment list described above.

“Beyond work, the clients also experienced the charm of Qingdao.” – During leisure time, the client also enjoyed the charm of Qingdao. Accompanied by the NPW team, the client visited May Fourth Square, the Olympic Sailing Center, and tasted authentic Qingdao beer and seafood. The client said: “Qingdao is a beautiful and vibrant city. NPW’s enthusiasm and professionalism give me great confidence in our future cooperation. This trip was not only a business journey but also an unforgettable cultural experience.”

🤝 Looking Forward
NPW will continue to provide full support to the Ivorian client – from process design and equipment manufacturing to installation, commissioning, and personnel training – helping them move from traditional farming and slaughtering to a modern, standardized, and efficient stage.
