From Equipment To Everyday Consumables

NPW builds slaughter and processing lines — and knows exactly what a boning hall, a lairage wash-down crew and a cold store need on their hands, bodies and feet every shift. Consumables are matched to the line we supplied, not picked from a generic catalogue.

Where The Risk Sits

Four Exposure Zones On Every Line

Lacerations, cross-contamination, slips and audit findings rarely come from one place. Each zone below is covered by a dedicated NPW product system.

⚠ What Goes Wrong Without A Proper PPE Program:

  • Boning and trimming stations stop the line after every hand injury — recordable incident rates climb
  • Cut-resistant gloves rated for light duty fail against a slipping boning knife on a hanging carcass
  • Cotton and polyester aprons soak up blood and wash water within an hour, becoming a contamination vector
  • Fabric gloves and wooden handles cannot be machine-washed or sanitised to a food-grade standard
  • Ordinary rubber soles lose grip on fat-covered floors — the most common cause of lost-time claims
  • Dull, poorly balanced knives force workers to push harder, which is when the cut happens
  • Retail and export audits flag missing CE / EN 1082-1 / FDA documentation for contact equipment
  • Four different suppliers for gloves, aprons, boots and knives mean four MOQs, four shipments, four QC risks
What NPW solves: one matched protection system for hands, body, feet and cutting edge — certified materials, correct sizing per station, and consumables that survive the wash-down cycle.

Why NPW

Why Buy Consumables From Your Equipment Supplier

The same engineers who design your slaughter line specify what your operators wear on it.

Complete Category Coverage

Equipment, spare parts, protective clothing, cutting tools and hygiene consumables from one supplier — one PO, one shipping conversation.

Hygiene-Grade Materials

316L stainless, food-grade TPU and non-porous finishes specified for wet, fatty, sanitised environments — not generic workwear.

Lower Combined Cost

Bundling PPE with equipment and consumables reduces unit price, negotiation time and freight versus separate suppliers.

Process Understanding

We know why a skinning knife differs from a boning knife at 3 a.m. on a hog line — recommendations are station-specific, not catalog-driven.

Sizing & Fit Program

Gloves XXS–XL, boots 36–47 and apron lengths assigned per operator, so protection is actually worn instead of sitting in a locker.

OEM & Logo Marking

Laser logo on blades and handles, printed shoulder straps on aprons, custom packaging and multilingual labels for your market.

Mixed SKUs & Trial Orders

Start with a small trial across four systems before committing to a full plant kit-out; mixed containers are standard practice.

Replenishment On Schedule

Gloves, sleeves and blades are wear items. Set reorder quantities and we keep your lines stocked without emergency air freight.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

For manual boning, skinning, breaking and any station where a knife moves toward the hand, 316L chainmail to EN 1082-1 is the reliable choice — it resists the slice that a textile glove cannot. Textile cut-resistant gloves suit packaging and handling where blades are not in the hand.

They are ambidextrous — one glove fits either hand, so you order by size only (XXS to XL). Measure the widest point of the knuckles and we will map it to our size chart; the extended 19 cm armguard model also covers the forearm.

Yes. The TPU film stays soft down to -65℃ and tolerates 90℃ machine washing, so it performs in freezing rooms and survives industrial laundering without cracking or peeling like coated fabric.

Match it to splash level: tall 35 / 36.5 cm for lairage, sticking and wash-down; mid-calf 31.5 cm for cutting and packaging rooms; low-cut 12.5 cm slip-ons for dry packing and inspection areas. EVA models are for long standing shifts where weight matters most.

Blades are 5Cr15MoV stainless with a tapered grind and mirror polish — corrosion resistant and easy to honing-steel between cuts. Sets include a sharpening steel; we recommend a scheduled strop or stone pass per shift depending on bone contact.

Yes. Blade and handle laser marking, printed TPU shoulder straps, custom gift boxes, roll bags, aluminium cases and multilingual labels are all standard OEM work for dealers and plant buyers.

Trial orders across all four systems are accepted, and mixed SKUs in one container are normal — gloves, aprons, boots and knives consolidated with your equipment and spare parts shipment. Tell us headcount per station and we will propose starting quantities.

Yes. Glove, apron and knife samples can be couriered for fit and handling evaluation, with the cost credited against a confirmed bulk order. Send your destination courier account and we despatch the same day.
