A handheld electric stunning machine for pigs (also known as a handheld electric stunning device, artificial electric stunning clamp, or stunning device) is a specialized handheld tool used in pig slaughtering for artificial stunning.
It uses handheld electrodes to clamp the pig’s head or a specific part of its body, applying a controlled current to instantly render the pig unconscious, facilitating subsequent slaughter and bleeding while meeting animal welfare requirements.
This equipment is suitable for small slaughterhouses, handling breeding/sick pigs, farm slaughtering, and as a backup tool for automated electric stunning lines.
