Technical Requirements for Conveyor Belts
The transportation of live poultry demands extremely robust conveyor belts. Given that belts in many work sections need frequent cleaning to remove animal excrement and other foreign substances, they must be water-resistant for cleaning purposes, chemically corrosion-resistant, and highly wear-resistant. Additionally, UV disinfection resistance and ease of maintenance are also crucial.
Conveyor belts used for transporting slaughterhouse waste are generally subject to less stringent requirements. However, when it comes to conveying internal organs, the belts must comply with strict hygiene standards. Food-grade conveyors are therefore essential equipment for conveying and handling internal organs as well as certain types of waste.
